Day 45 of 70.
Today was kind of a mild day workout-wise, but life definitely wasn’t mild.
I started my morning early with a Gravel workout at home, which included cowbells and dumbbells. Nothing too crazy, but enough to get moving and get part of my challenge done before the rest of the day took over.
And I’m glad I did, because once the day started, it didn’t stop.
I spent part of the day taking my mom to doctor’s appointments. Then it was off to my son’s football activities, where I volunteered to help with dinner service.
By the time dinner service was over, it would have been incredibly easy to go home, sit down, and call it a day.
But there was still work to do.
So my husband and I walked around the school until I finished what I needed to complete Day 45.
Today wasn’t about crushing some huge workout or setting a personal record. It was about finding a way to make it happen even when the day was packed with everything else.
That’s one of the biggest things this 70-day challenge is teaching me.
There isn’t always going to be a perfect time. Sometimes you have to make the time.
Getting up early gave me a head start. Walking with my husband at the end of a long day got me across the finish line.
It wasn’t glamorous.
It wasn’t exciting.
But it counted.
And sometimes, showing up on the busy days is the biggest win.
Day 45 complete. 25 days to go. 💪🩷
Real miles. Real mom. No filter.
